Or loves using big data to solve issues, without losing sight of the people who make up the data. With a Bachelor’s in Geography, and a Master’s in Community Development, Or has extensive experience in nonprofit management. He is also passionate about inclusivity and volunteers with an adapted sailing club. Or has been living in Halifax for five years now with his wife Alex and puppy Max. He will be happy to chat with you in English, Hebrew, French, and Spanish (if you speak slowly!).

Morgane Evans

Events and Communications Coordinator

Morgane has worked in communications since she was 18, and received her BA in International Development and Certificate in Indigenous Studies from Dalhousie in 2023. Influenced by her and her friends’ experiences as disabled students in high school, Morgane wrote her thesis on the influence of colonialism on disabled American students’ access to education. She has previously worked in consumer research and advocacy, creating social media projects to drive change.

While not event planning or crafting social media posts, she likes playing the Sims 4, walking on the waterfront, writing stories, and obsessing about Tolkien and Middle-earth.
