On Saturday, January 25th, the Dalhousie University Computer Science outreach team will be hosting Global Game Jam NEXT 2025! This is a world-wide game creation challenge where students ages 12 to 17 come together to create their own games in a limited amount of time. The event will include an opening presentation, lunch, and the chance to play the games that everyone creates. Mentors and staff will be on-site to help with any questions you might have or if you want to learn something new. You can work with a team or as an individual to create a digital game, or a physical game! Board games, card games, anything you can think of. A limited number of laptops will be available, but please feel free to bring your own device if you’d like.

Please only register if you plan on joining us, as we have a limited number of tickets available. There is no cost to join the event. Please note that all participants will need to have a parent or guardian sign a permission slip upon arrival.
