From hackathons to workshops, and from Tech Talks to networking events, the Sandbox offers a low-threshold and low-stakes environment to experiment and play in the world of tech innovation. Sandbox events are available to post-secondary students across the province.

ShiftKey Academy is an applied learning program focused on technical skills essential to the job market. Academy programs teach in-demand skills and offer key qualifications and certifications outside of a classroom setting. Academy includes programs which are open to both students and non-students.
Turning AI Ideas into Real Ventures
AI2Market helps post-secondary students across Atlantic Canada turn AI-powered ideas into market-ready ventures. Through hands-on programs in AI, software development, data science, and entrepreneurship, students can discover opportunities, validate ideas, and build for launch.
Building Real-World Tech Skills
Side Quest gives students the opportunity to explore hands-on tech projects at their own pace. Through practical experience, students can develop technical and professional skills, receive feedback, and create portfolio-ready projects to showcase to future employers.
