Global Game Jam
The Global Game Jam® (GGJ®) is the world's largest game creation event taking place not only in Nova Scotia but across the globe! Think of it as a 48 hour hackathon focused on game development around a surprise theme (announced on Day 1 of the Game Jam). Join us in Halifax for a week of workshops leading up to the main event on February 3-5!
Game Jam Next
GGJ NEXT® is an annual event operated by the Global Game Jam® organization to serve younger people (12-17 years old) who are interested in learning the creation of video games. We are teaming up with Ignite Atlantic and Code Ninjas to host engaging, hands-on, in-person events in Halifax, Yarmouth, and New Glasgow on February 4!
The Global Game Jam® (GGJ®) is the world's largest game creation event taking place in physical locations across the globe. Think of it as a 48 hour hackathon focused on game development around a theme.
The GGJ kicks off on Friday, February 3rd from 4pm to 9pm. Then on Saturday you can come work with us from 9am to 9pm and on Sunday we finish things off from 9am to 7:30pm. Registration is $5 and covers meals for the whole weekend!
Workshop Schedule
To help you prepare for the Global Game Jam we are hosting workshops the week before. They will all be held in Room 429 in the Goldberg Computer Science Building, 6050 University Ave, Halifax and online. Check out the schedule below and let us know you are coming with this link.
