This October, ShiftKey Labs is running Build It! Machine Learning, a four-week, low-pressure, mentor-supported program designed to help students turn ideas into real ML projects. Whether someone has a side project they’ve been putting off, something they’re already building and want support with, or no idea yet and just wants to create something, this program has been created for that.

Participants receive $150 in project funding, dedicated mentor support, and workshops on pitching, talking about their work in interviews, and showcasing what they’ve built. The program also wraps up with a showcase event where everyone shares how far they got. It’s more focused on progress than perfection.
