Screentesting Your World Through Roleplaying with Geoffrey Mason

Friday, October 26th @ 5:30 pm7:30 pm

In this workshop, we will be creating a roleplaying game to test out the logistics of what it means to live in a world that isn’t quite like our own.

Geoffrey Mason will be teaching us how to create a dice-based roleplaying game that takes place in the worlds we created in the previous workshop.

Don’t worry about having any Dungeons and Dragons experience – the game rules will be approachable for anyone. The only thing to expect is that with storytelling, nothing ever goes as expected!

About Dal Writes

Dal Writes is a society for creative writers that focuses on elements of science fiction and fantasy such as worldbuilding. We believe that anybody who wants to become a better storyteller would benefit from the events that we host.

Our society’s goal is to give writers the confidence to create great stories from start to finish.

We will be hosting events every Friday from 5:30 – 7:30pm with each event focusing on a different element of creative writing.

Join us to meet published authors, professional editors, publishers, game developers, and many other professionals who employ elements of storytelling in their work on a daily basis. No creative writing experience required!
